In times of war and chaos you will assume the role of a young man, who is supposed to liberate the entire world of Eo from the new, nameless evil. SpellForce 2: Faith in Destiny is a RPG, Strategy video game. So if you enjoy the spellforce series and feel like going back into the fray, don't hesitate to check out free game mode, you might be pleasantly surprised.SpellForce 2: Faith in Destiny – Full Version – PC Game – Compressed – Free Download Also, seeing as the Spellforce community is small and largely inactive, and free game mode is one of the more obscure topics, you'll be mostly on your own here, sink or swim (although on a recent visit to I saw a handful of posts from January and February of this year. One thing to keep in mind: there are no saves in free game mode, if you fail a mission (and you will) you have to go back to that map and start from scratch. In any event, I was about to reluctantly uninstall this game as I'd completed the base game and all the expansions, but I gave free mode a shot and I'm here to report that it's nearly like having another complete single player game, minus the fleshed out characters and story line (although you do get a surprising cut scene every now and then). The quests assigned are all pursued in the remainder of the maps, which you will recognize from the single player game - looks like about 20 or so total maps, with all new quests and enemies. It's not as good as the single player campaign because there's not much of a story to speak of, mostly a series of scenarios with related quests This would usually be called 'scenarios' in most other games but in Spellforce that name is used for the expansions, so it's called free game mode and it's actually quite good.įree game mode centers on the Quest Map, which has multiple merchants and is the hub for receiving quests as well as acquiring additional heroes (I've got six now and I'm only level 14 of 30 and still on the early maps). I realize there's not much of a community left for this game, but I'm a big fan and I wanted to post a heads up on the surprisingly good 'free game' mode.
